SHIPPING Q&A's

Question: Where do you ship from?

  • Your order will be shipped from our order fulfillment center in Bangkok, Thailand.

Question: Where do you ship to?
  • We ship Worldwide, to all countries for FREE via standard shipping.

Question: Can you ship to a PO Box or APO/FPO address?
  • Yes, since we ship through the post office we can ship to PO Box and APO/FPO addresses. However, if selecting Express shipping, these shipping services require a physical street address.

Question: How will you ship my order? What shipping service do you use?
  • In general, all standard shipments are shipped through the post office via International Insured & Registered Airmail. The package will then be delivered by your local post office. This is a very safe and reliable way to ship from Thailand. In some cases, some larger shipments going to the USA may be shipped via UPS. If you are placing a larger order (7+ items) and do not wish for your order to be upgraded to UPS, please just let us know.

Question: Will my order be Insured?
  • Yes, all orders ship fully insured for your peace of mind

Question: Will I need to sign for the package?
  • Yes, International Registered & Insured Airmail typically requires a signature upon delivery, making it a very safe way to ship. If you are not available to accept the shipment, your post office should leave a notice for you, the package can then either be claimed at your post office or in many countries can be requested to be re-delivered.

Question: How long will it take for my order to arrive?
  • Packages on average arrive to most countries in 10-14 BUSINESS Days, however they can sometimes take up to 4 weeks to arrive. Shipping times vary from shipment to shipment depending upon the post office and your countries customs service in transit. Please understand that once we release a package to the post office, the shipping time frame is entirely dependent upon their services.

Question: How quickly will you ship my order?
  • We ship orders within 1 business day of receipt of your order. We do not ship on weekends or on Thai & US holidays.

Question: How do I know that my order has been shipped?
  • As soon as your order has shipped our system will send out a shipping confirmation email, this will be sent to your registered e-mail address.

Question: What days/holidays do you not ship?
  • We ship daily, excluding Weekends and Holidays. Our holiday dates are as follows:
    • 2012: January 1-3rd; March 7th; April 6th & 13-16th, May 1st, 5th, 7th; June 4th; August 2nd, 13th; October 23rd; November 29th; December 5th, 10th, 24-25th, and 31st.

Question: Do you offer Express shipping? I need my order fast.
  • Yes, we offer express service via UPS, DHL & EMS. Rates will be displayed during the checkout process.

Question: How fast is Express shipping?
  • Express packages on average arrive in 3-7 business days, depending on the destination country and your countries customs proceedures.

Question: What are Import Duties & Customs Taxes?
  • Import duties and/or customs taxes are charges that are sometimes assessed by your countries government. These additional charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding or buying. Please do not confuse these as additional shipping charges. Import Duties and/or customs taxes are typically collected by the shipping company upon delivery of the package.





ORDER TRACKING Q&A

Question: Will I be able to track my order online?

  • A few countries (for example the USA and Canada) offer limited online tracking for packages sent via International Insured & Registered Airmail, however most countries do not offer this service. Please visit our 'Order Status' page for full tracking details.

Question: Will you give me a tracking number?
  • Once your order has shipped your packages registration number will be uploaded into the record for your order. In some cases it can take up to 2 business days for registration numbers to be uploaded. Your packages registration number will work as your tracking number. Some countries offer online tracking with this number, however many do not yet offer this service.





PAYMENTS Q&A

Question: What types of payments do you accept?

  • We are able to accept Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover) and PayPal payments. With PayPal you can pay with a credit or debit card, bank account or PayPal balance. We are not able to accept Cash, Checks, Money Orders, or direct Bank Transfers out side of PayPal.





RETURNS & EXCHANGES Q&A

Question: What is your return & exchange policy?

  • We want you to be completely happy with your order. If for any reason you are not satisfied, please contact us or proceed to our customer support desk, located on our Customer Support page, to open a 'return request case ticket'. We will gladly accept your return request for unworn, unwashed, or defective merchandise. Returned merchandise should be sent back to our Bangkok branch, include the original packaging and tags and be in the same condition as when it was received. Your RMA # (issued when a 'return request case ticket' is opened) should be written on the outside of the package. Used merchandise cannot be returned unless defective. Although our items include the shipping costs when purchased (for example 'free shipping'), we apply a portion of your purchase price to cover the post office charge to ship the item to you. In the event of a return the original amount that was paid to the post office for your shipment is non-refundable and will be deducted from your refund, unless the item is defective.





MISCELANEOUS Q&A

Question: How can I wash/care for this item?

  • For all of our garments we recommend to machine wash on the gentle/hand wash cycle with a delicate soap. Then hang to dry. This should maintain the garment nicely. Alternatively, any item can be dry cleaned if you prefer.

Question: I am coming to Bangkok, do you have a store that I can visit?
  • Currently, we only have our order fulfillment center in Bangkok. Products for purchase are exclusive to eBay and our website.

Question: Is your site secure? How can I check?
  • Rest assured, We use a trusted SSL (secure socket layer) encryption certificate which is a highly sophisticated encryption software to ensure that your order placed over the Internet is safe and secure. You can view our current SSL certificate at the bottom of each page of our site. By clicking on the SSL certificate you will be directed to Thawte where the certificate will be confirmed active for your peace of mind.

Question: What is your Privacy Policy? How can I unsubscribe to e-mails?

  • Rest assured, Siam Tropical is dedicated to protecting your privacy. We will not sell or disclose any information that identifies you to a third party without your prior approval. We may use the information we collect to periodically notify you about new products or special offers we think you'll find interesting and valuable. If you would rather not receive this information, you may send an e-mail to support@siamtropical.com with 'unsubscribe' as the subject line.
